1. Jaggery / Gud / गुड़ – Health Benefits of Jaggery

Jaggery is filled with many health nutritients and are very easily available in very Indian kitchen and general stores.

Jaggery prevents us from acidity. If a person consumes Jaggery regularly. He / She will not suffer from acidity.

It helps us to keep our digestive system healthy.

Jaggery removes bad toxins from our blood. As a result it prevents pimples from our face and our face glows.

Jaggery maintains body temperature and it holds anti-allergic property. It is beneficial for asthma patients.

If you want to keep your bones healthy. Consume little amount of Jaggery with ginger everyday.

To relief from tongue infection eat jaggery with rice.

Make laddus from Jaggery and black sesame in winters. It will give you high energy and will prevent you from Asthma in winter.

To get relief from cold make soup with Basil leaves (Tulsi), Jaggery, Black pepper, Ghee, Ginger. It will recover cold.

Mixture of Jaggery and Ghee will cure Ear Pain.

Mix two table spoon olive oil in egg and apply on hairs.

In a week massage head scalp with coconut milk.

Apply Amla hair oil and eat regularly Amla murabba.

Apply onion juice on hairs.

Drink Aloe Vera juice and apply Aloe Vera in hairs regularly.

In night put two table spoon fenugreek seeds in water. Next day morning make paste of it and apply on hairs as a hair mask.

Massage hair scalp with olive oil.

5. Home Remedies to control Blood Sugar Level – How to cure blood sugar level

Take one tomato, one cucumber and one bitter gourd (करेला). Make juice of them. And drink everyday. It will maintain your blood sugar level.

Everyday consume fennel seeds after meal. It will maintain blood sugar.

Consume Indian blackberry ( जामुन) with black salt. And drink jamun sirka.

Consume stevia leaves. It tastes sweet but is sugar free by nature.

Consume satavar and milk in equal amount to control blood sugar level.

Consume 4-5 neem leaves everyday for best result.

Drink wheat grass juice to control blood sugar level.

Exercise is compulsory for sugar patients. Burn some fat do hard work to control blood sugar level.

Preparation method of Persian Rose Pistachio Cake

In a bowl add milk maid and butter and beat them.

Gradually add maida, pista powder, baking powder, baking soda and mix them all.

Follow cut and fold method to ensure all ingredients mixed well.

Now add plain soda water, rose water or rose essence, food color into the batter and pour the batter into greased baking tin.

Sprinkle rose petals and pista on top and is ready to bake.

Make sure the batter is thick and bake it at preheated oven 160 degree Celsius for 30 minute.

Some tips to follow before you start baking a cake

Always use fresh baking powder.

Don’t forget to greese tin before pouring cake batter.

Always use one measuring cup to measure ingredients for perfect baking experience.

Put butter papper in bottom of tin for the easy removal of cake.

Karma Puja 2023 – भाई बहन का अनोखा पर्व है करमा – जानें पूजा विधि – The Community of India Who celebrate karma puja Karam

Karma festival is being celebrated on Bhadra month shukla paksha ekadashi tithi every year. This year karma festival will be celebrated on 25 September, 2023. Mainly women perform this puja for the wellbeing of brother. Jharkhand tribal people offer puja to Goddess nature.

karma tree and its branches are symbol of God Karma. And people offer puja to karma tree branches on this day. In Jharkhand this festival is being celebrated as traditional festival. If a girl is doing karma puja for the first time then her brother carry her in his arm to the place of worship. Almost all people wears traditional dresses.

Karma Puja Rituals

People follow some instructions in this puja. Women carry sand from near by river 10 days before from the puja. They puts barley and rice crop seeds in this sand. These crops are symbol of good crop cultivation. They put water regularly in this crop seeds. And women sings traditional folk songs at this place.

On the auspicious day of Karma Puja, women visits near by river, ponds for bath. Men forms a group and they sings traditional folk song and plays tribal Indian music instruments called dhol and mandar. They visits karma plant and first they offer pray and cuts three small branches from this tree for puja. They carry that branches on shoulder and it should not touch ground because it is the symbol of God.

They brings that karma tree branch to the worship place called Akhara in local language. In evening time all people gather at the worship place. They decorate this place beautifully. All people wears traditional dresses of Jharkhand.

The traditional dress is made up of cotton material in red and white color combination. Women wears saree and men wears dhoti, kameej and gamcha.

Puja rituals are performed by Pahan (tribal panditji). And he tells the story of Karma – Dharma, two brothers and the reason behind performing this Puja. Women keeps fast without drinking water and food for the wellbeing and they have a strong belief on Karam Gosai.

After Puja all people dance in a tribal style dance posture called as Jhumar here. After 2-3 hours they returns to there places.

How to opens Karma Puja Fasting

Next day morning all women after getting fresh carry rice and karmi vegetable as Prasad (holy food). They offer puja to karma tree branch offer prasad to it and they give a hug to it. Then in group they visit to nearby pond or river and puts tree branch in water. And returns to home. In some places next day Jatra is being organized to celebrate festival with a big crowd. They performs tribal dance (jhumar) there.

Story of Karma and Dharma

Karma and dharma was two brothers in a village. They both were marries. But Karma’s wife was not a good person. She usually puts hot rice water on earth. Karma felt bad for mother earth. One day karma left his home and village and went somewhere else. After that day all villagers were unhappy and nothing was good at that place. Dharma decided to look for his brother and he went from the village.

In his route he found one river without water and the river conveyed messaged for karma that she wants to know the reason why her water is dried up. Then he found one mango tree whose all fruits was attacked by pests. the plant also conveyed the message for karma. Then dharma found one old man and he told that from when karma went from village his shoulder loads are not getting unloaded with other persons help. Then dharma meet with one women and she told that all utensils are getting stick with her hands. please ask karma the reason.

Dharma reached at deserted area and there he found Karma. He asked him to return home but karma refused to go back. He said that her wife puts hot rice water on mother earth. He will not go to that place. Then Dharma promised him that from today no one will put hot rice water on mother earth.

Then they both starts for the home town. first they met with that women she asked him reason he replied that she did not give food to hungry people that’s why that things happened. Not do these kind of inhuman activity further then all things will be normal. after that he replied to river that she did not offer clean water to people that why her water dried up. Further offer clean water to all.

This way karma gave answers for all and returned to his home. Then he offer puja to Karma tree branch in his home. And people starts living happily here after. And from that day all people celebrate Karma festival and tells everyone this two brother’s story.

This temple looks like a combined form of two huts. So named as Jor Bangla. This temple is made by Maharaj Raghunath Singh in the year 1655. And is famous for its terracotta art presenting scenes of Ramayana, Mahabharat and Krishna Leela. This temple is declared as National Monuments of India in the year 1913.

Madan Mohan Temple Bishnupur

Madan mohan temple is very popular in Bishnupur. And is beautifully crafted by terracotta paintings showing scenes of Mahabharat and Ramayana. This temple is dedicated to Lord Radha Krishna. And Radha Krishna statue is dedicated to Lord Radhakrishnan. And Radha Krishna statue is situated inside this temple. One tulsi plant is planted in the garden area.

Lalji Temple Bishnupur

This temple is made by Raja Veera Singh in the year 1658. This ek ratna temple is made by using Laterite stone. On the top of this temple one sapt rath shape durg is present. This temple is declared as national monuments of India in 1914.

Radha Shyam Temple Bishnupur

This temple is made by Raja Chaitanya Singh in 1758. This temple is dedicated to Lord Radha Krishna. The temple was closed during our visit for maintenance work.

Dalmadal Canon Bishnupur

This canon was used many times for war. This canon is made up of Iron and is 3.8 meter long and 20 cm wide. It is made by Malla kings and may be the largest canon at the present time.

This canon is declared as national monuments of India in 1931.

Rasmanch Bishnupur

This temple is made by using laterite stone and it looks like a piramid in a shape. Till 1935 Vaishnav Ras Utsav was being organized here. And Radha Krishna idols from all other temples was being bought here for this occasion.

This temple was declared as national monuments in the year 1914.

Maa Mrinmoyee Mandir Bishnupur

This temple is also called as Rajbari and is more than thousand year old. People visit here from all over India during Durga Puja.

Chinmasta Temple Bishnupur

This temple is dedicated to Maa Chinmastika one form of Maa Parvati and is very ancient.

Jormandir Bishnupur

Here three temple are almost same in shape, color and design and in group called as Jormandir. These temples are made by Malla Kings in eighteen century. Two temples are little bigger in size in comparision to middle one. Here you can admire the stucco work on the wall of middle one temple showing the vision of Ramayan and Krishnaleela.

This temple is declared as national monuments in the year 1914.

Gate of Old Fort

This gate is made up of laterite stone. It have a pathway and it have rooms on both side inside it, which must have been used as a check point before entering the city. There is another arched gateway which is attached to the earlier structure. Earlier the fortified city can be accessed through this inner gate house. According to the locals it is built by Veer Singh in the 17th century. This fort was declared as National Monuments in the year 1913.
